Brow Post: RissRose2

I've had this sitting in my drafts for the longest time, but I knew I was going to post it around this time. Since its the time to give thanks why not thank the one person whose videos introduced me to the YouTube beauty community?!
When I discovered the beauty community on youtube back in 2008 I was searching eyebrow shaping videos.
I came across michellephan first and while watching it, Marissa's tropical look popped up on the side bar and I clicked it and as I watching it I was like whoa her brows are pretty dope!
And this RissRose2 girl is talented I can learn a thing or two!! I was going to comment on how I liked her brows but I was too nervous at the time (I was still in the closet with my eyebrow addiction) but I later told her how much I love them.
Even she knows how I throw eyebrows compliments at her till this day! haha!
I support and am thankful for RissRose2, because if it wasn't for that video I don't think I would have been so drawn into the beauty community. She made my experience awesome because she is one of the original/realest gurus in the youtube game and has never changed who she is. Over time I have stopped watching certain gurus and she's one of the very few whom I still watch today. I have made great friends online throughout the beauty community and I wouldn't have met them if it wasn't for her.

Marissa's brows have always been popping! I think twins run in her blood because she has twin girls and her eyebrows are twinnies too!
Her eyebrows look thick but at times they look thin. I think that's why I love them. The shape arch everything is perfect, she even has dark brows and she fills them them and they don't ever look harsh or too bold for her face.

Review: Korres Quercetin & Oak Antiageing Eye Primer

Ive always enjoyed branching out and trying new brands. Luckily I got the opportunity to try out Korres recently. An antiageing eye primer by Korres. Have you tried it?
Well I've used it for a few weeks and one thing I did love was the formula, it felt so silky. The packaging was not all that great it is kind of hard to get the product out so that was a bit of a disappointment. It did crease on me but after a few hours which was not too bad considering I rarely need my makeup to last more than 8 hours. I did find it kind or drying but I do have dry skin especially with winter almost here. It is also good to apply on the under eye area I actually use it more as an under eye primer more it doesn't crease as much in that specific area , well for me at least. Over all I did like this primer but I still enjoy my other primers as well. I will consider purchasing it in the future because of the key ingredients it contains, Quercetin & Oak Extract which is a powerful antioxidant that helps improve the signs of aging. I'm not getting younger I'm getting older and hopefully with this little primer I can slow the process of aging...on my face at least.

Just an update

HEY LoVIES, so it's been decided that Im going to convert this blog. It is too much to keep with two blogs=. And too much to ask of my readers to follow two separate blogs. So this blog will be under construction and will come back with a new look.. Okay not really just a new banner and layout perhaps. As to when I will have it up not sure I wanted to have it up before the middle of this month but with the school load I have at the moment it may not allow me to. I am going to really try this month. I am getting excited :D
